| Conditions related to housing : | Super 8 does not provide housing to J-1 participants. Once job offers are extended the Lake Motel will work with the students to recommend local housing options, however it is the responsibility of the students to find and secure their own housing. Students will want to arrange their own motel housing for the first few nights when they arrive in Lake George and should do this prior to arrival to ensure they have somewhere to stay. Local housing will cost approximately $70-$95 per person, per week. |
| Transportation between housing and workplace : | Student will be responsible for own transportation in the Lake George area. It is easy to get around the town by walking, buying a bicycle or using the local trolley service. |
| Additional information : | Must pass a DHI pre-screen and a telephone interview with Super 8 prior to job offer. |
| Area details : | Should fly into Albany Airport and take the Greyhound Bus to Lake George. Lake George, nicknamed the Queen of American Lakes, is a long, narrow oligotrophic lake draining northwards into Lake Champlain and the St. Lawrence River Drainage basin located at the southeast base of the Adirondack Mountains in northern New York, U.S.A. and lies within the upper region of the Great Appalachian Valley. |
